Dmitri

Dmitri was a quiet boy. He had been ever since his father had died in an industrial accident at the Ares Storage Facility. He had always taken after his father, who loved putting things together and making them work properly. His father had a passion for it, “But Dmitri” he would say “has a gift for it”. And it was true, Dmitri had a way with machines that even his father couldn’t fathom. After his death, Dmitri’s mother had to go to work, but she still managed to make time for her boy. That’s how she was also able to be there for Ricky. He and Dmitri had met on a playground one day and were practically inseparable from then onward. Ricky‘s home life was troubled, and he would often come to Dmitri and his mother seeking shelter from the violence his foster parents inflicted on him. Ricky had a special place in both their hearts, and so it was painful to both of them when they saw him pulling away from them and falling in with The Road Hogs. Dmitri had hopes that he would be able to talk to his friend and bring him home, but did not live to see it come to pass. Glamocles found his body, being loudly grieved by his mother, as it had been left: cold and inert on the pavement. After being offered promise of payment by Chet Porkins, who was present, Glamocles proclaimed to Dmitri’s mother that he would avenge the death of her son and bring his killer to “justice”
